PhD candidate

Francesco Saverio Montesano is a PhD candidate within the GLOBALGOALS project. He has a strong International Relations background, and holds an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics. Prior to joining the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, he worked as a researcher at the Clingendael Institute in The Hague and at the College of Europe in Bruges, where his research focused on the foreign and security policy of key global actors, with a special emphasis on China and the European Union. Within the GLOBALGOALS project Francesco studies the steering effects of the Sustainable Development Goals at the international level.
