Nikki Theeuwes is a student at Utrecht University. She has an interdisciplinary background in Social Science and is currently enrolled in the MSc Sustainable Development, Earth System Governance track. For her MSc thesis she researches policy coherence for the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular SDG 2 (zero hunger), SDG 5 (gender equality), and SDG 13 (climate action). She focuses on the political process of policy coherence in food security and climate governance and consequences of these processes for gender equality. In order to do this, she will conduct a state-level case study around the Haryana Vision 2030 in Haryana in India through policy analysis and interviews.
